When anxiety & depression begins to feel overwhelming, having somewhere to talk can help. Together we can explore what you are experiencing and what may help you feel more grounded and understood.
If you're feeling low, overwhelmed, disconnected or simply not yourself, counselling can offer space to make sense of what you're experiencing without pressure or judgement.
You may be struggling with confidence, self-doubt or feeling that you're not enough. Counselling can provide space for you to explore these feelings and begin to develop a kinder understanding of yourself.
Grief is deeply personal and there is no right way or timescale for it. I offer compassionate support where you can talk about your loss, your memories and whatever your grief looks like for you.
Changes in family life, relationships, work or other difficult experiences can leave us feeling uncertain or overwhelmed. You can explore what these experiences mean for you in a safe and supportive space.
Relationships can affect our wellbeing in many different ways. Counselling can help you explore relationship difficulties, boundaries, communication, past experiences and the patterns that may be affecting you.
Our first session is an opportunity for us to meet, talk about what has brought you to counselling and explore what you hope to gain from our work together. There is no pressure to share everything straight away. We will go at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Counselling sessions from £60 per 50-minute session. I offer a free initial 15-minute telephone consultation, giving us the opportunity to briefly talk about what has brought you to counselling, ask any questions and see weather working together feels right for you.
Sessions are usually 50 minutes long.
The number of sessions varies depending on individual needs and goals. We will discuss this together.
Yes. What you share in counselling is treated with respect and confidentiality. There are some circumstances where confidentiality may need to be broken, particularly where there are serious concerns about safety or safeguarding. I will explain confidentiality and its limits clearly before we begin working together.
I use a person-centred approach that prioritizes your unique needs and experiences, ensuring you feel safe and supported.
If having someone accompany you would help you feel more comfortable for your first session appointment , please let me know beforehand. The counselling session itself will usually take place privately so that the space remains focused on you.
